Wild and Free

Whew!

The past seven days have been cRaZy.

{top ten}

1. I studied for and took some midterms. Three down two to go!

How I felt all week long.... I was a pathetic, pitiful mess....
2. Friday night I had an impromptu sleepover with my two cousins and sister, who were visiting for our other cousin's baptism.

It was complete with a giant milkshake to share (although Myra ate most of it), a back massage train, and boy talk, boy talk, and more boy talk (of course).

I LOVE those girls.

My sister changed since the last time I saw her....

She does NOT look like a little girl anymore. It freaked me out. She's not allowed to be gorgeous! She's still my little Nat who used to dissect owl poop,
collect Kleenexes, and talk in her sleep!

It's not fair.

These are some pics of the four of us over the past few months.
{sadly i didn't get any of our girls' night.... we were having too much fun!}

3. On our way to the baptism Saturday morning we came up with an impromptu musical number in the car {thanks Uncle Desi for volunteering us}.

We came up with a pretty rock awesome version of I am a Child of God, though.

It made granny cry, so it must have been good right?

The fam {at least part of us} at the baptism.

4. I took my cuz Mateen with me to the Georgia Tech football game Saturday night.

We won, it was beautiful weather, and we went to Wendy's (in Springville, cuz traffic in Provo was terrible!) afterward and got crispy chicken sandwiches.
'Twas grand.

5. After Ali and Desi came and picked Mateen up from Wendy's, me and Traci and Megan started to go back home, but we realized Traci had a flat tire.

So we pulled in the Walmart parking lot and started to change it.

Traci kept insisting we could do it on our own.

Me and Meg doubted our abilities.

But THEN a miracle of all miracles drove up in a bright red car with a license plate that read
"#1 UTES FAN"

I'm dead serious.

This huge guy in cowboy boots and a Utes hat got out and helped us change the tire, and he was so kind, even though we had all our BYU attire on and everything.

Faith in humanity restored!

6. After the tire-changing episode, me and Meg remembered we were out of toilet paper, so we went inside and bought some.

Then we found the clearance rack and made a wonderful discovery....

Shirts, for $2.50, that said "Wild and Free". So we each got a different color, in size XXL, and they are now our "best-friend-who-needs-boys-anyways" shirts.

Yes, Willy, we do in fact love being rebels.

7. We then went to M.E.'s and watched an AMAZING movie (well, the last half of it at least). I cried so hard, and I hadn't even seen the beginning.

It's called The Impossible.

I LOVE movies that are true stories and make you feel. This is one of those movies.

Watch it.

8. I went to FHE on Monday for the first time this semester, and it was lots of fun!

We roasted mallows and made s'mores, had some pretty wild conversations, and laughed a ton. That's what families are all about, right?

9. Tonight I went to Zumba with M.E. and it was

So. Awesome.

{this is us}
I've missed Zumba so much! It's been so long since I've gone to an actual class.
Usually I just do it in my apartment by myself and make up my own sweet moves.

M.E. couldn't stop laughing for the first twenty minutes
because she was so shocked by my moves.

What can I say, I just like to shake my money-maker.

Zumba is just great, because you can shake it for a whole hour, no one will judge you, no guys are there, and you're burning calories.

I luff it.

10. I found this little gem yesterday. I saw this dude in concert once, and he's so good. I play his music all the time. Well, I try to at least.

Give a listen. It's beautiful.

I'm going to add "play in a river" on my bucket list.
{play piano in a river, not just play in a river. i can do that whenever i want}

Life is good!

Busy and hard, but good.

There are so many happy things happenin right now and I'm trying to just soak it all up.

I'm so blessed!
