Taps on the shoulder

I was reading this talk this morning from the past General Conference. 

It's about God's love for us, and how sometimes He makes us go through the storms of life instead of taking them away, because then we can more fully feel His love for us and draw closer to Him.

This quote is exactly how I feel about my Savior:

"He is always near, especially in sacred places and in times of need;

and sometimes, when I least expect, I feel almost like He taps me on the shoulder to let me know He loves me.

I can return that love in my own imperfect way by giving Him my heart."

I know God loves us so much, because I've felt it.
