Turkey, Bamboo, and Family

Well, Thanksgiving Break is officially over!

It went by way too fast. 

Now back to school and tests and work! Gross.

Here are the highlights from my week: 

-Making homemade chocolates

-Having a family Pictionary competition

-Eating the traditional hors d'oeuvres before Thanksgiving dinner, eating Thanksgiving dinner, and eating second Thanksgiving dinner with all the leftovers the night after

-Watching all of the little cousins while the adults went Black Friday shopping 

(perks of being the oldest grandkid)

-Having sleepovers and long chats with the cousins every. single. night.

-Watching lots of movies 

(Monster's University, Princess Bride, The Sixth Sense....)

-Sleeping in

-Playing this song over and over:

-Hanging out with my besty Jamie

-Going to the temple with all my cousins to do baptisms for the dead

-Playing Phase 10 dice with my dad (and getting beat every time)

-Having a pre-birthday celebration with  my family, 

complete with homemade lemon cake and purple candles!

-Shopping with my sis

-Buying a lucky bamboo plant at Walgreen's for $2
